Monday Morning Photo - Wisteria Time in Andalucia

How quickly spring comes around after the short winter here in the Sierra Sur de Jaén. After lots of very much needed rain we´re back to the normal cloudless blue.  My garden is shooting incredbily with the moisture and now sunshine. And my beautiful wisteria flowers grandly albeit it short-lived. The big black carpenter bees love it. Each flowering season reminds me of the Botanical Gardens in Malaga and the ´tunnel´ of wisteria that I haven´t yet caught in bloom. April is a good time to plan to go if it´s on your list.  Here´s the botanical garden link La Concepción Botanical Gardens. And a sneaky peak at the wisteria. See the Monday Morning Photos list.

My Fav Fotos of The Mezquita in Cordoba

Thought I´d post some of my favourite fotos from The Mezquita. Yep my English sometimes becomes like my shopping list, the shortest form is written. An example of a recent list:

Eggs
Pan
Zumo
sugar
jam
miel....

It´s really handy being able to speak two languages ´cos as the brain cells often rebel and won´t produce the word I want - I now have a choice of two. So I win, but my English is becoming as bad as my Spanish!

Still I´m heartened by a report I read while last in England, (can´t remember which) that people who are bi-lingual are better protected against Alzheimers, I hope that covers fairly fluent too.

I waffle...

Now words fail me.

The Mezquita is an aura, an experience, a wonder, a once in a liftime must and one I want to repeat soon.
