Monday Morning Photo - Jaén´s Renaissance Cathedral

Even though the lovely old plaza in front of the cathedral had it´s magnolia trees ripped out and nothing put in place I have to admit every time I see this cathedral I´m impressed.

It is enormous and magnificent from the outside and over-the-top in religiosity inside, it´s also home to one of the cloths that was used to wipe Christ’s face on his way to be crucified. Every Friday people are allowed to kiss the cloth.
