Flamenco Paintings

I´ve loved Flamenco as long as I can remember, I had a large collection of Spanish dolls that my grandma brought me back from her holidays. So the music of a Spanish guitar always conjures up the vigour of the many forms of Flamenco.

These paintings by Margaret Merry excite me and wonderfully depict the emotion of the dancers.

Margaret lives in and paints in Spain, her work can be found on her Flamenco Paintings blog both original paintings and prints are for sale.

My son, at trained luthier has a hand-made Spanish Flamenca blanca guitar sale not unlike the ones in the paintings.

I really can´t decide which of these paintings is my favourite each one has wonderful detail. The bright red and blue ones are vivid and eye-catching but the other two make me look at their pose and expression more. Which is your favourite?
